I am Reyhaneh Rezaeishoorijeh, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a researcher in aquatic animal vaccination, immunology and infectious disease management. My research focuses on understanding host–pathogen interactions and designing effective preventive strategies to improve the health and immunity of aquatic species.

Over the past 2.5 years, I have worked at the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute, Shiraz Branch (Aquatic Animals Department) as a Research Assistant within a collaborative research team. During this time, I have gained hands-on experience in pathogen identification, microbial culture and diagnostics, vaccine development, and immunization protocols in aquatic animals.

My focus on the health, immunity, and disease prevention of aquatic species has strengthened my scientific perspective and deepened my commitment to improving aquatic animal welfare through research-based interventions.

For more than 1.5 years, I have been an integral part of an aquatic sciences research team led by an assistant professor. Together, we have published one research article and are currently working on multiple articles. This experience has allowed me to actively contribute to research planning, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and the development of collaborative scientific projects.

My long-term goal is to pursue a PhD and establish an international academic career as a leading researcher in aquatic animal immunology and vaccination, contributing to both scientific advancement and practical solutions for disease control in aquaculture.
